The Halloween Rock n’ Scream, presented by SF Live, Bottom of the Hill, and Illuminate brought together an eclectic lineup of bands that transformed the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater into a lively Halloween celebration.
Lost Puppy Forever, a bass & drum duo featuring Scarlet and Boom Puppy kicked off the afternoon with their unique repertoire of ‘music about dogs for people. They also hosted a dog costume contest, adding a family-friendly twist to the day’s events. Next up, Nobody’s Baby took the stage, delivering a rock sound layered with sludgy, psychedelic textures that perfectly matched their intense aesthetic. The McCharmlys followed with a nostalgic mix of doo-wop, surf rock, and 1960s-inspired beats, quickly getting the crowd on their feet and creating a lively, dance-filled atmosphere. Headlining the show, Die Spitz—a punk rock band from Austin—took over with an electrifying, unapologetic sound. Their captivating stage presence and powerful set embodied the band’s bold spirit.
