On a delightful Saturday afternoon, Bay Area Ukulele fans gathered at the Yerba Buena Gardens for a jam. Spearheaded by Ukulenny and Cynthia Lyn, the SF Uke Jam has become a time-honored tradition for local Ukulele players. Now, joined by Nā Hōkū award-winning Abe Lagrimas, Jr., they form the trio U3. Attendees played along with rock, pop, and Hawaiian classics.
Uke Jam attendees took a break while U3 took the stage to showcase their compositions from their debut album “In Waves,” leaving the audience captivated. Hula dancers added a touch of Hawaiian culture. With their talents reaching new heights, the Trio is now preparing to go international with their first UK/European tour, set to carry their musical magic across the pond.
