Last weekend, The Independent in San Francisco hosted the “White Drugs Christmas” shows, featuring The Bronx and their alter ego, Mariachi El Bronx. The Bronx delivered a powerful punk rock performance on December 20, while Mariachi El Bronx showcased their unique fusion of punk rock energy with traditional mariachi music on December 21.
Both nights featured toy drives, with attendees encouraged to bring toys for donation to local shelters, adding a charitable aspect to the festive celebrations. These concerts marked the final performances for The Bronx before the band shifts focus to Mariachi El Bronx in 2025.
The “White Drugs Christmas” shows at The Independent provided a memorable and festive experience for fans, blending the raw energy of punk rock with the rich traditions of mariachi music, all while supporting a good cause. It was a fun couple of nights and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in 2025!
