Headlining at The Chapel was Emile Mosseri, an American composer, pianist, singer and producer based in Los Angeles. He has scored films including The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019) Minari (2020), Kajillionaire (2020), and composed for television shows like HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness, and season 2 of Amazon’s Homecoming.
Emile dedicated the night’s performance to his nephew and niece, who were in the audience and attending their first musical concert. Emile’s show was fun to watch as he constantly engaged with the audience, including taking requests for the next song to play. Emile has an excellent knack for musical storytelling with poignant lyrics and intimate singing.
