February 28, 2025 | Great American Music Hall – San Francisco

Nick Lowe, the legendary English singer-songwriter and producer, joins forces with Los Straitjackets, the masked surf-rock instrumentalists, to bring their dynamic and stylish musical fusion to the Great American Music Hall as part of the 2025 Noise Pop Festival.
Opening with his classic “So It Goes,” Lowe immediately captivated the crowd before showcasing songs from his latest album, Indoor Safari, including “Went to a Party,” “Love Starvation,” and “Tokyo Bay.” Midway through the show, Lowe yielded the stage to Los Straitjackets, who dazzled with a set of instrumental surf-rock classics. Their tight musicianship and vintage sound maintained the high energy. Lowe returned with “Trombone” and continued with more Indoor Safari tracks, culminating in a triumphant finale featuring staples like “Cruel to Be Kind,” “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding,” “Heart of the City,” and “I Knew the Bride (When She Used to Rock ‘n’ Roll).”
For the encore, Lowe led a crowd singalong to “When I Write the Book” before returning for a second encore with a heartfelt solo rendition of “Alison.”
