The Bay Area’s own, Sour Widows, hit up The Independent in San Francisco over the weekend to showcase their debut album release, Revival Of A Friend. Where it was nothing but love for the Oakland indie, alt mainstays as they performed the new album mostly in its entirety surrounded by friends and fans.
Led by singer/guitarist duo, Maia Sinaiko and Susanna Thomsom, the night of music born from loss and grief turned into a celebration. A celebration of the band’s evolution and triumphs over adversity that offered a further hopeful glimpse of what’s to come for the young band.
The trio conclude their west coast run of shows in LA at the end of the month, but they kick off a wider US tour in September. See the info here.
