Boys Like Girls delivered a high-energy performance at The Paramount Theater in Seattle that left the crowd buzzing with nostalgia, exhilaration, and even more excitement for the band’s latest music. As they took the stage, the audience was transported back to the mid-2000s, a time when pop-punk and emo anthems ruled the airwaves. Then, almost immediately, we were treated to songs off Sunday at Foxwoods, the band’s newest album. The new songs, distinctly BLG, also demonstrate how the band has grown musically. The band’s infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and charismatic stage presence had fans singing along to every song. Martin Johnson’s vocals were as strong as ever, and the chemistry between band members was palpable, creating an electric atmosphere. From their breakout hit ‘The Great Escape’ to the band’s latest single, BLOOD AND SUGAR, Boys Like Girls’ performance was a whirlwind journey through their iconic discography, proving that their music still resonates with fans and continues to be a powerful force in the pop-punk world.
Sunday at Foxwoods is out now via Fearless Records.
